KDE Plasma is actually running, but the desktop (plasmashell) and the window manager are not running. I ended up to those (incorrect) links, starting from manjaro home page and clicking the “Thy Manjaro” button, and then “Get KDE Plasma 20.1” which led me here: Manjaro Manjaro - KDE Plasma. Manjaro kde built-in interface to easily access and install themes, widgets, etc. While very user-friendly and certainly flashy.

Once you have your Manjaro ISO file downloaded, insert your USB stick into the computer. Use the following command to see what device name Linux has given to your USB stick: $ sudo fdisk -l. fdisk gives us the label of the USB stick. Metro2005 • 7 mo. ago. For me KDE plasma is the best DE for linux and the apps are (imo) indeed much more mature than most gnome apps with a lot more options. Icon size in dolphin can be resized with ctrl plus or minus. I was once a gnome 2 fan but since gnome 3 the workflow is just not my thing.
